Jet engine

In the jet engine. the meeting of force and counter force described by Newton's third law of motion has a special name thrust. At its simplest, thrust can be observed in the way a balloon when it releases air is propelled in opposite direction.

A jet sucks large quantities of air into the front of its engine. The air then enters a compresses made of many spinning blades, which as the name implies,compress the air into a smaller space,increase its pressure and potential energy in the engine's combuster,the pressurized air is sprayed with fuel and ignited.Oxygen and fuel burn, producing very  hot,expanding gases.There enter the turbine,rotating its blades(which in turn help power the compressor blades).Finally the hot air. together with cooler air that has flowed around the engine core.blasts through the engine's rear nozzle with enormous energy enough the push the plate forward.
